When the Carthusian monks founded their monastery at the foot of the Montsant mountain range in the 12th century, they showed us the way. Now we have restored their farm, where they cultivated their vines, olive trees and orchards, to offer a unique stay in an exceptional setting.

Gastronomy inherited from a thousand-year-old history
In the 12th century, the Carthusian monks from France found the ideal place to develop their spirituality in the Priorat mountains and founded the first Carthusian monastery on the Iberian Peninsula. They also introduced the cultivation and wine production techniques that we inherited. The gastronomy that we offer, based on local products, is the ideal complement to the excellent wine offering that the wineries in the region produce in both the Priorat and Montsant designations of origin.
