Cycling in Terra Dominicata
The Priorat is a magnificent place to enjoy cycling. The landscape of vineyards and olive trees, its small and charming villages and its little-traveled roads are a unique space where you can get out and pedal to enjoy a memorable experience.
If you decide to bring your own bike, at Terra Dominicata we have space to store it safely. If you prefer not to bring your own bike, we have prepared a selection of cycling offers suitable for different levels, both road and mountain biking.
You can choose whether you want to do the activity with or without a guide.

If you bring your bike we will store it safely in our warehouse. Also if you need it we have a space to clean it with our karcher.
If I come with my bicycle, where do I keep it?
In our warehouse we have a space for storing bicycles. Just let us know at reception and a member of the team will provide you with access to your bicycle.
Do you have a space to wash it?
Yes, we have a space with a water outlet where, if you wish, you can use our karcher.
Bicycle rental - Adventure Bike Rental
If you want to pedal your way through the Priorat we offer you the option of renting a bike with our provider Adventure Bike Rental.
What time are they delivered to the hotel? What time are they picked up?
The rental bike will be delivered to the hotel around 9 am and picked up at 8 pm.
How far in advance should bicycles be rented?
We recommend that you arrange the rental at least 48 hours before your arrival.

What are the cancellation conditions?
Once confirmed, the rental cannot be cancelled. Only a change of day is allowed.

Guided mountain biking excursion - Cicla Priorat BTT
What does the activity consist of?
This is a guided tour with electric mountain bikes around the hotel.
Leaving from Terra Dominicata we will follow a circular route that passes through the villages of Vilella Baixa, Gratallops and Escaladei. The route takes some small stretch of road but the route runs mostly through vineyards on dirt roads. In total, it is about 30 km.

What is the cost of the activity?
The price is 90€ per person, VAT included.
The price includes bike rental, helmet rental, guide and insurance.
What is the duration of the excursion?
The excursion lasts 3 to 4 hours.
What is the point of departure and arrival?
Departure and arrival are at the same hotel Terra Dominicata.
What time is the departure time?
In hot weather, it is advisable not to leave after 9:00 am. In winter you can leave until 10:30 am.
What fitness level is required?
The electric bike is a great help and makes this activity suitable for many people but a minimum fitness level and some experience in using a bike is recommended.
What type of clothing is necessary to wear?
It is recommended to wear sports clothes (appropriate for the season) and sports shoes. The bicycles have normal pedals. It is also advisable to wear sunglasses.
How far in advance should the activity be booked?
All reservations are subject to availability of the guides. It is recommended to book at least one week in advance.
What are the cancellation conditions?
Up to seven days before departure, cancellations are free of charge. With less than seven days the penalty will be the amount of the contracted activity.
What happens if it rains on the agreed day?
The route can be done without any problem in case of light rain. If the weather forecast is for heavy rain, the activity will be postponed or cancelled.
